Description of VIT&FORT
Vit&Fort provides a reinforced supply of trace elements and vitamins for calves. It comes in the form of a syringe with selenium, iodine, copper, zinc, vitamins and lactoferrin, these trace elements and vitamins are sources of natural antioxidants.
Selenium is essential to glutathion peroxydase, the main antioxidant of the body ; Iodine is an essential element of thyroid hormones, which regulate the general metabolism, the energy metabolism and the protein metabolism of calves ; zinc participates in the energetic metabolism, in the integrity of the immunity, in the growth and the palatability of the product.
Regarding the vitamins, Vitamin A plays a role in multiple metabolisms (cutaneous, immunity, growth, sight). Vitamin E possesses very strong antioxidant properties. Complementary to the selenium supplement, vitamin E intake helps to limit cell degeneration and to improve the immunity of deficient animals. Vitamin D3 is for calcium. It allows its digestive assimilation and thus participates in the growth of animals.
Its composition enriched in lactoferrin is highly important : it is a protein found in colostrum, and has natural antibacterial properties.
